Hosted help center

A help center that answers the question

Customers type what they want to know and get the answer from your docs, with the article and section it came from. Your articles are still there to browse, and everything is on your domain, in your brand.

What your customers get

  • Search that answers

One box for questions and keywords. A question gets a written answer; a keyword gets the matching articles.

  • Suggested questions

Choose the questions shown before anyone types, so the most common answers are one click away.

  • Articles and collections

Articles you write in PageTruth are published here, grouped into collections, and readable without asking anything.

  • Feedback on every answer

Helpful or not, with an optional reason. Low-rated answers show up in your insights.

  • A way to reach you

When an answer isn’t in the docs, the page offers your support email, form or link instead of a dead end.

  • Built for phones too

The help center and its answers read properly on a phone, because that is where many of your customers will open the link.

  • Browse or ask — the same page does both

The help center keeps the structure people expect from a help center, so customers who like to browse still can.

    • Collections with article counts
    • Article pages with “Was this helpful?”
    • Popular articles from real views
  • On your domain, in your brand

Upload your logo, set an accent colour and a headline. On Growth and Scale, connect help.yourproduct.com with a CNAME and remove the PageTruth badge.

    • Logo, accent colour, light or dark theme
    • Custom domain with automatic HTTPS
    • Public, or private to signed-in members

Help center questions

Something else? Email us. A person replies.

Do I need to rewrite my existing help center?

No. Import it by URL or sitemap and keep it where it is, or move your articles into PageTruth and let it host them. Many teams do the first, then the second.

Can the help center be private?

Yes. Leave it members-only and only people you invite can sign in and ask, which suits internal and per-customer knowledge bases.

How does the custom domain work?

Add a CNAME record for a subdomain such as help.yourproduct.com pointing at PageTruth, plus a TXT record that proves you own it. We issue the certificate automatically.

Give your customers answers, not a ticket number

Point PageTruth at your docs, publish a help center and drop the widget into your app. The free plan is enough to see it answer your own questions.
