File types and limits

Each file can be up to 50 MB.

A source is one file, one imported web page or one published article. Sources are counted across every knowledge base in your account.

The Account sources tile on the Knowledge page shows how many you've used.

A sitemap import brings in up to 200 pages at a time. Each page counts as one source.

A customer's question can be up to 1,000 characters. Follow-up questions see the last six turns of the conversation, so answers stay on topic without growing expensive.
