Answers are wrong or missing
What you're seeing
- "I couldn't find that in our docs" for something you know is documented.
- An answer that's out of date or wrong.
Check these in order
Has the source finished processing?
Open Knowledge. New sources must show Ready (files) or Indexed (web pages) before they can be cited. If that fixed it, you're done.
Is the information really in the text?
Information that's only in an image, a diagram or a video can't be read. Add it as text, for example in an article. If that fixed it, you're done.
Is the source out of date?
Answers follow the copy PageTruth has. If the page changed on your site, fetch it again; if a file changed, upload the new version and delete the old one. If that fixed it, you're done.
Do two sources disagree?
An old and a new version of the same document can both be cited. Delete or update the old one. If that fixed it, you're done.
Does the question use different words from your docs?
Search matches by meaning, but product-specific words can still miss. Add a line to custom instructions, such as "Customers say 'workspace' for what the docs call a 'team'", or mention both words in an article. If that fixed it, you're done.
