Get invoices and update your card
Before you start
- You have a paid plan, or have bought extra answers. Payment method and Invoices appear after your first payment.
Two steps
Update your card
Choose Billing under Account in the sidebar. Under Payment method, choose Update card. A panel opens on the right; enter the new card and save. Your next invoice uses it.
Get an invoice
Choose Invoices at the top right of Billing. Stripe's secure billing portal opens, where you can download past invoices and receipts and update your billing details. Use the link at the top of the portal to come back to Billing.
You're done when
Payment method shows your new card, or you have your invoice.
If something's not right
A payment failed
We email you when a payment fails, and Billing shows Payment overdue. Choose Update card; once the new card is saved we retry the overdue invoice with it straight away.
